Fused magnesia

Medium-grade magnesia is produced from light magnesia with MgO content of 97% by pressing ball and calcination in high temperature shaft kiln. The product has good sintering degree and dense crystallization, so it is a high quality raw material for producing middle-grade magnesia refractory products.

Electrofused magnesia is produced by melting specially A grade natural magnesite or high purity lightweight magnesite particles in an arc furnace. The product has high purity, large crystal particles, compact structure, strong slag resistance material, good thermal shock stability, is an excellent high temperature electrical insulation material, and is also an important raw material for the production of high-grade magnesia bricks, magnesia carbon bricks and amorphous refractory materials.
