Use of refired magnesia and its difference from refired magnesia

When magnesite is calcined at 1800℃, carbon dioxide completely escapes and magnesium oxide forms a dense block of calcined magnesite, which is weighed and burned (also known as sintered magnesite). Such magnesite has high refractoriness. Its main component is magnesium oxide, which is made of natural extra-grade magnesite by flotation purification, light burning, fine grinding, high-pressure pressure ball and ultra-high temperature oil calcined in vertical kiln.

Magnesia is a basic oxide, which has the common property of basic oxide and belongs to cementitious material. White powder (pale yellow is magnesium nitrided), odorless, tasteless and non-toxic, is a typical alkaline earth metal oxide magnesite.
